We took the leap, raised funds, hired people, completed tax formalities, launched products, actively marketed our offerings, and of course enjoyed every second of the journey. We achieved a lot, made mistakes, but we are still moving forward.

After unearthing a passion for wine, Shakira Chanrai left a role in mutual funds marketing to launch Grappled, a wine selection app. She has an undergraduate degree from the LSE and a place on Duke`s MBA programme to start in the fall of 2015.
